Positive: - the design and the friendly service. The food and the restaurant - I loved it all - I will definitely be back.
Negative: Yes, there is a very short walk to the beach - mostly filled with fishing nets- but you get rewarded with the most beautiful beach

Positive: The second you arrive at Luma you feel peaceful. Every single person of the staff is really helpful and kind. They are the reason my stay was as great as it was. The hut is super spacious, very clean and the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in during my whole India trip. I was worried about mosquitos but actually barely got bitten because of the mosquito nets so that’s a plus! The bed linnen and towels are spotless and soft and they even have towels for you to take to the beach. The breakfast that comes included is super tasty and comes with a choice of coffee and also a juice. The hotel is right behind the beach but also very quiet at night which is great. Would love to come back!
Negative: The hotel area is absolutely spotless. Zero trash and they focus on reusable stuff like glass water bottles and refillable toiletries. However, Palolem itself is quite dirty and the little sand paths to the beach are full of trash. It’s not something the hotel is in charge of but I hope this changes in the future because it’s such a beautiful place.

Positive: Amazing staff, the place is quiet and beautifully designed, and the bungalows are stunning. The breakfast and the on-site café/restaurant serve excellent food.
Negative: The shower and toilet are outdoors, which was a cool experience, but it comes with some downsides—like lots of ants everywhere (one morning they even covered our toothbrush), and we shared the bathroom with frogs. It didn’t bother us, but it might not suit everyone. The water pressure in the shower is weak, and sometimes there’s no hot water. There’s no fridge in the room, and there were frequent power outages. There are no curtains to block out the sunlight. The breakfast was very tasty, but not very rich or varied.

Positive: Excellent in every way. A beautiful hut with superb attention to detail. Especially loved the outdoor shower and small touches like fresh mineral water, beach towels and wonderful toiletries. The setting was serene and calm. It was hot in April but the AC was great. Loved hearing the waves, the eagles calling and the occasional tree squirrel and monkey. Thanks for a lovely stay. Only request would be to have an airing rack for wet costumes and towels.

Positive: The rooms are super cozy and well decorated, the bed is big and comfy and the overall vibe is very unique and welcoming.
Negative: The bethroom without ceiling is pretty cool and gives a special vibe, yet it obviously brings a lot of bugs in the area, if you’re not mindful they can also get in the room
Summary: Beautiful stay in a lovely and well designed rooms and a great location in Palolem. We loved it.

Positive: Stay was amazing. Right next to the beach, but secluded enough to enjoy the nature and peace
Negative: The housekeeping was not done even once in my 4 days of stay. Waterbottles were not refilled at a daily, and were only refilled and sent to the room upon request. Washrooms were not cleaned throughout my stay. Even washrooms supplies were not restocked. There was a lizard, a frog and a cockroach in our room even after locking all the doors before leaving, but the night Gaurd was nice and helped us with the situation. No direct call/landline linkages to reception. Had to call from my phone incase I need something in the day. And in the nights, nobody pickup the calls. You have to go to reception and ask, incase you need anything or have any emergency in the middle of the night. Would appreciate some coverage at reception via phone even in the night. There is barely any power backup. My point of picking the stay was to enjoy the space. But in the afternoons there is constant powercut and there is barely any power backup. Even if it’s there, the reception has not backed up the power supply of the room. I had to call the reception after waiting so long for power backup and I was told l, that it would take time. But upon persistence, they turned on the power backup. Lot of scope for improvement in hospitality. The space was amazing and the staff was nice, kind and helpful but, lacks operationally
